Blake Stanford Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award for Dedication to Child and Adult Care Food Program
In a heartwarming ceremony at the National Child Nutrition Conference in Orlando, Blake Stanford was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the National CACFP Sponsors Association (NCA) for his unwavering commitment to the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) community.
For nearly four decades, Blake has been a driving force in the CACFP community, serving as the founder, president, and board chairman of the Southwest Human Development Services Corporation. Under his leadership, the nonprofit sponsoring organization has grown from 50 to 850 family child care homes across Texas, impacting the lives of countless children and families.
Blake’s dedication to the child care community is unparalleled, with over 20 years of service on the NCA Board of Directors. Throughout his tenure, he has inspired growth, leadership, and accomplishment among board members and the NCA team, setting ambitious goals to advance the Association.
