The “Wheel of Fortune” contestants have been keeping viewers entertained with their hilarious guesses and premature celebrations on the popular game show. During the May 27 episode, contestant Rufus confidently guessed “Don’t look away” in the “Phrase” category, prompting cheers and applause from the audience and even host Vanna White. However, longtime host Pat Sajak quickly shut down the celebration by revealing the correct answer was actually “Can’t look away.”

This blunder comes just days after another contestant, Tavaris, provided a memorable moment by misidentifying a popular phrase as “Right in the butt” instead of the correct answer, “This is the best!” The audience erupted in laughter at the mix-up, while Sajak calmly corrected the mistake.

After over 40 years as host of “Wheel of Fortune,” Sajak recently announced that his final episode will air on June 7. The beloved host shared his decision to step down in a statement, expressing gratitude for the incredible journey and teasing that he will have more to say in the coming months.

Sajak’s departure marks the end of an era for the iconic game show, as he surpassed Bob Barker as the longest-running game show host in September 2022. Fans can expect an emotional farewell episode as Sajak bids farewell to the wheel and the contestants who have provided endless entertainment over the years.
