VTEC and Ivy Tech Valparaiso recently celebrated the success of their second graduation ceremony, honoring students William Stanford and Thomas Sims. The partnership between VTEC and Ivy Tech aims to provide students with valuable skills and certifications to prepare them for future opportunities.

The 12-week program offered by VTEC, a division of Opportunity Enterprises, includes training in electronics recycling and refurbishment, light industrial work, custodial services, food services, and hospitality. Upon completion of the program, students receive industry accreditation certificates and a skills mastery that can help them secure employment in various fields.

In addition to the technical training provided by VTEC, students also receive a certification in Basic Safety Principles of Production from Ivy Tech, further enhancing their qualifications.
